Entry level model but decent construction and design

With the Panasonic TX-L37E3B the manufacturer has attempted to bring a high level of design and build quality to a television which is aimed at the lower end of the market.
The black bezel with tapering grey detailing below the screen is finished with a real sheen and the whole thing feels solidly constructed and durable.

Despite the humble origins of the TXL37E3B it is more than able to deliver visual performance that can match up to much more costly sets.

Like many entry level TVs the Panasonic TX-L42E3B is not at the cutting edge of style, but it is also far from being ugly.

The LG 42LW550T is the TV of choice for anyone who wants to jump on the 3D bandwagon at the more inclusive passive end of the spectrum.

This models bigger brother the LG 47LW550T won numerous Best Buy Awards in 2011, so it seams reasonable that its 42 inch sibling will cut the mustard.

It stands on its own merits in 2D, with its full HD 42 inch screen exuding great images from all sources.

However, the LG 42LW550T will live or die by its 3D playback, which is why it deserves further analysis.

Easy on eye styling ready for wall hanging

On the outside the LG 42LW550T does not try to dazzle with over the top design choices, so its finely finished black bezel and glossy styling is contemporary and cool without being too wacky or distracting.
